# License Activation

Online activation requires internet access on the machine where you run the plugin.

If that machine is offline, use the offline activation flow with a request/response file exchange.

A single license can be active on up to **3 machines at the same time**. After that, deactivate one machine in the Nobe Color Remap utility app to free a slot.

## Online Activation

Open the **Nobe Color Remap** application:

* macOS: `Applications`
* Windows: desktop shortcut (or `C:\Program Files (x86)\NobeColorRemap\`)

Then follow this activation guide:

[How To Activate Nobe Color Remap – Time in Pixels](https://timeinpixels.com/how-to-activate-nobe-color-remap/)

If internet access is unavailable, use [offline activation](#offline-activation).

## Offline Activation

You can activate a license without internet access on the destination machine.

Open the Nobe Color Remap app and follow the offline activation steps for your OS.

The app generates a request file (`*.olr`). Save it and send it to:

<contact@timeinpixels.com>

You will receive a response file that can be imported to complete activation without internet access.

After receiving the response file, open Nobe Color Remap again, select **Offline Response**, choose the file, and complete activation.
